DTM purchased Royer Microphone
Image The Recording Studio division has purchased a Royer R-121 microphone from Vintage King Audio. "We've been wanting to add a low noise ribbon microphone for quite some time", said Philip Zanon, responsible for equipment aquisitions, "but didn't know which ones might work well for our banjo and guitar recordings." Thanks to Vintage King Audio several microphones, inlcuding the AEA-84 and Royers R-12, R-122 and R-122V could be tested live at the studio and the decision was made to purchase the R-121 for beeing the mic that worked best on various instruments.

has awarded the Bangor Symphony Orchestra a $10,000 Access to Artistic Excellence grant in support of the BSO/Kruger Brothers' world premiere concert presentation: Music from the Spring: A Romantic Serenade for Banjo, Guitar, Bass & Orchestra by Jens Kruger, scheduled for June 2, 2007, at the Maine Center for the Arts, Orono ME.

Kruger Brothers collaborate with Bangor Symphony Orchestra

The Bangor Symphony Orchestra announced today its ground-breaking musical collaboration with the Kruger Brothers to present new music composed by Jens Kruger: "Music from the Spring, a Romantic Serenade for Banjo, Guitar, Bass and Orchestra" premiering June 2, 2007 at the Maine Center for the Arts.
